Award For Outstanding Service To The Concord Kiwanis Car Show -  9/18/2008

Chris Pappas and Ken Jordan present an Award For Outstanding Service To The Concord Kiwanis Car Show to NHTI.  Receiving the award is Terry Lee Covey, Assistant to the Public Information Office. Bunny Raffle -  3/10/2008
Concord Kiwanis participated in the recent BonTon Community Day, selling Coupons for use at the store on March 1st.  Member Pat Lane donated a stuffed bunny as an additional incentive to purchasers of Coupons.  The bunny was raffled off at the Monday, March 10th, 2008 meeting.

2007 Kiwanis Car Classic Donates to NHTI Paramedic Program -  3/3/2008

On February 21, 2008, Jane Berwick and Chris Pappas presented Nancy Brubaker and her staff at NHTI  Paramedic Program with a check for $ 2906.90 for  Paramedic Program Equipment..  Four items were purchased with this donation: Advanced Infant Intubation head,   Adult airway trainer, Pneumothroax simulator, and a Cricothyrotomy simulator. On January 29th, 2006 the Charitable Foundation, of the Kiwanis Club of Concord, held a Texas Hold ‘em Poker tournament, hosted by the Red Blazer Restaurant. This successful event raised approximately $1400, which will be targeted for the Club’s College Book Scholarship program.
