On Monday 8/13, the Kiwanis Club of Concord dedicated a memorial granite bench to Tom O’Connor at Camp Spaulding in Penacook.  Tom was an honored Kiwanian for many years and Distinguished Past President of the club. He is remembered for his years of service to the Concord community and dedication to the children served by Child and Family Services.  As Senior Vice President of Child and Family Services, Tom made Camp Spaulding his mission and was instrumental in the expansion of the camp to serve an even greater number of low and moderate income children.  Tom O’Connor passed away in February of 2001, leaving behind a legacy of community involvement and service.  He is fondly remembered by the Kiwanis Club of Concord .
